Module 4: Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) Training/Workshops.

Module IV

The participants will learn to regulate the avoidant/restrictive intake disorder (ARFID) patient/client. The participants will learn to track a nervous system as patient/client is being regulated in their own system. The participants will learn about orienting, how to orient, and how and why they teach their patients/clients to orient.



Dr. Kim DiRé, LPC, MEd, SEP, DBH is passionate about helping people. Her background in education gives awareness to people’s needs and experience teaching those needs in skills sets. Trauma, eating issues, eating disorders, relationships, and effective communication are her specialties. Dr. Kim has an integrated training approach.

She uses her experience from teaching, lecturing, therapy, and writing to honor each individual or group to complete specific goals for each client’s benefit and future.

Kim has her Master’s in Counseling from Argosy University/Phoenix and a Master’s in Education from Chapman University. She is also a certified Hypnotherapist graduating from the Atwood Institute for Research and Education. Her training, individual therapy sessions, and facilitating groups using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Hypnotherapy and Somatic®Experiencing for trauma healing are useful when working with clients.
