Module 2: Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) Training/Workshops.

Module II

This module will help the participant/practitioner identify and learn specific physiology. The module will also address and show how to use those physiological openings to decrease fear and adrenaline in avoidant/restrictive/food intake disorder (ARFID) patient/client.

 

Presenter

Dr. Kim DiRé, LPC, MEd, SEP, DBH is passionate about helping people. Her background in education gives awareness to people’s needs and experience teaching those needs in skills sets. Trauma, eating issues, eating disorders, relationships, and effective communication are her specialties. Dr. Kim has an integrated training approach.

She uses her experience from teaching, lecturing, therapy, and writing to honor each individual or group to complete specific goals for each client’s benefit and future.

Kim has her Master’s in Counseling from Argosy University/Phoenix and a Master’s in Education from Chapman University. She is also a certified Hypnotherapist graduating from the Atwood Institute for Research and Education. Her training, individual therapy sessions, and facilitating groups using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Hypnotherapy and Somatic®Experiencing for trauma healing are useful when working with clients.

Course Objectives:

Module 2:

- Use the therapeutic tools for Module II.
- Identify how to touch into vagas nerve to regulate nervous systems.
- Predict how to read and find more physiological openings.
- Interpret objection without constriction skills.
- Formulate how to good graph.
- Develop ways to motivate for change when fear is barrier.
- Identify the phrenic nerves and their function.
- Identify and discover how to innovate phrenic nerves for optimum function.
