Workshop Description:

This workshop emphasizes body-based skills, experiences, and communications that deepen intimacy and expand loving pleasures between partners.

Through discussion, embodied Gestalt processing, and present-centered structured exercises, we will explore three levels of intimacy: emotional, physical, and sexual:

  • Emotional intimacy: breath awareness; felt-sense presence; self-attunement.

  • Physical intimacy: interactive attunement; body-to-body empathy; affection.

  • Sexual intimacy: the pleasures of “relaxed-excitement" erotic empathy, hedonic “hot spots”

This couples workshop is open to all health professionals, who will gain skills relevant to clinical practice and earn 26 CE credits (AASECT, APA, LCSW, MFT, and more)
