Couples and Addiction Recovery is a new workshop for therapists, counselors, and professionals who work with couples struggling with substance use and compulsive behavioral disorders, as well as with couples in recovery from substance and/or behavioral addictions. This training integrates the “Couple Recovery Development Approach” from Dr. Robert Navarra’s research of over 15 years, with the “Sound Relationship House” model that was developed by relationship experts Drs. John and Julie Gottman. This training provides a relational approach that includes each partner’s recovery and their relationship’s recovery.
