Speaking to the Hearts of Men: Applying AEDP with Gender in Mind

Currently Dale is former adjunct faculty member with City University (Vancouver campus) where he taught in the graduate program in Counselling Psychology and served on the advisory board. Dale taught and did course development for the Centre for Conflict Resolution at the Justice Institute of British Columbia. Working to End Violence: Dale Trimble has been in private practice as a counsellor, consultant, and trainer since 1979. He co-founded the Vancouver Alternatives to Violence Program in 1981, one of the first men’s treatment programs in Canada for men who use violence in relationship, and coordinated the program for 21 years. He is a founding board member (1993) of the B.C. Association of Counsellors of Abusive Men (ACAM). In 2000 he received a distinguished service award from ACAM.
