Linda Chapman, MA, ATR-BC, RPT-S

is a board-certified art therapist and registered play therapist supervisor. She currently directs the Art Therapy Institute of the Redwoods, a training institute for art and play therapists. Ms. Chapman is a former Assistant Clinical Professor in Psychiatry, University of California San Francisco School of Medicine, where she founded and directed the San Francisco General Hospital Pediatric Play Therapy Program. She has received numerous awards in the field of play therapy with traumatized children and has over eighteen years of clinical and supervisory experience.

Linda Chapman lectures and trains extensively throughout the United States and in Europe, and is an internationally recognized expert in art therapy and play therapy with severely traumatized, hospitalized children, adolescents and families.
