is Affiliate Clinical Professor at The Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies, Adelphi University, New York, author of "The Transforming Power of Affect", and the developer of AEDP (Accelerated Experiential-Dynamic Psychotherapy). Her recent work on transformational studies has focused on integrating cutting-edge developments in affective neuroscience, emotion theory and developmentally based understandings of the dyadic regulation of affect and intense emotion into clinical work with patients. She is on the editorial board of the "Journal of Psychotherapy Integration." Dr. Fosha maintains a private practice in New York City and has presented training workshops throughout North America, as well as in Italy and Brazil.
