Sylvia Boorstein, LCSW, Ph.D., a co-founding teacher of Spirit Rock
Meditation Center in Woodacre, CA and a senior teacher at the Insight
Meditation Center in Barre, MA, has been a psychotherapist since 1967 and
has contributed, through journal articles and training conferences, to the
ongoing investigation of the interface of psychotherapy and spiritual
practice. She teaches mindfulness meditation workshops nationally and
internationally and was part of the original faculty of the Institute for
Jewish Spirituality, an organization that provides meditation-based training
programs for rabbis and other Jewish professionals. Her teaching emphasizes
daily life as the venue for spiritual practice. Her books include It's

Don't Look Buddhist, and Pay Attention, For Goodness' Sake.
