Core Training – Multi-Faculty – Vancouver 2020

A note from AEDP Sr. Faculty member Dale Trimble, describing Core Training in general as well as his approach to organizing and leading this Multi-Faculty Core Training:

I’m excited to announce Core Training 2020 in beautiful Vancouver, BC. My own core training was 10 years ago. I found the experience to be one of the most personally and professionally rewarding experiences of my 40 plus years of being a therapist. My vision is to make this core training just as effective for you. Together we will create safety and support so that we witness each other’s work with curiosity and delight. You will have the wisdom and experience of three or maybe even four different faculty, over the course of our five weekends. By witnessing different ways of melting defense, processing emotion to completion and holding the magic of core state; you will come to find your own unique style of being your therapist at best.

If you are attending from outside of Canada you can take advantage of our lower dollar (~25% less as I write this). Our location is central to Vancouver and convenient to rapid transit from the airport, reasonably priced and comfortable hotels or Air B&B’s. Feel free to contact me directly at dale@daletrimble.com if you have questions.

This multi-faculty Core Training will meet for 5 weekends over the course of six months. The group will be limited to 10 participants to create group safety. Each weekend includes didactic and video presentation by the weekend’s leading faculty member, followed by one hour for each group member to show tape of their own work and receive both faculty supervision and supportive feedback from group members. Core Training is one of AEDP’s most powerful learning experiences for integrating AEDP theory into your own clinical acumen.

Prerequisites for joining the Core Training group: a) completion of Immersion and/or Essential Skills 1 and b) you must be videotaping your client sessions as bringing your own video is an essential part of the training. If you have not taped your sessions before, feel free to email me for guidance, dale@daletrimble.com.

Some core training groups are made up of individuals who are relatively inexperienced in AEDP; others are made up of relatively advanced AEDPers. Applications are required for the Training and every effort will be made to put together a cohesive group.

This workshop offers 75 CE hours.
