Learning Objectives:

  1. Demonstrate the theoretical and practical application of experiential techniques, including equine therapy.
  2. Summarize how they could use experiential techniques as an adjunct to traditional talk therapy.
  3. Create new skills for treating substance use disorders.
  4. Identify clients for whom this treatment option would be appropriate.
  5. Practice Equine Assisted Psychotherapy themselves in order to fully appreciate its potential
